The starting balance of the loyalty account before the transaction was processed. Data type: NUMBER (decimal adjusted). This field represents the account balance at the beginning of the transaction and is used for balance verification and audit trails. Used for transaction validation, balance reconciliation, and understanding account state changes. Example: 1000.0 for an account starting with 1000 reward points. Critical for maintaining data integrity, audit compliance, and accurate balance tracking in the rewards system.
