chore: promote to v2 stable (#11198) 
* chore: promote to v2 stable

- deletes all RC change files
- adds a new change file to promote all packages to v2 stable
- manually fix the tauri-driver, tauri-macos-sign, tauri-bundler versions so the next covector bump will move them to 2.0.0
- manually patch the metadata-v2.json file so the next covector update will mark all packages as 2.0.0

* ignore audit vuln without fixes

* bump msrv to 1.78

* run covector version

* fix sync lockfile covector

* #[allow(clippy::manual_inspect)]

API example

This example demonstrates Tauri's API capabilities using the @tauri-apps/api package. It's used as the main validation app, serving as the testbed of our development process. In the future, this app will be used on Tauri's integration tests.

Running the example

  • Compile Tauri go to root of the Tauri repo and run: Linux / Mac:
# choose to install node cli (1)
bash .scripts/setup.sh

Windows:

./.scripts/setup.ps1
  • Install dependencies (Run inside of this folder examples/api/)
$ pnpm i
  • Run the app in development mode (Run inside of this folder examples/api/)
$ pnpm tauri dev
  • Build an run the release app (Run inside of this folder examples/api/)
$ pnpm tauri build
$ ./src-tauri/target/release/app
